Which functions are there?

What can a column be?

Text, number, date, checkbox, select, or an AI column that fills itself from the other cells in the row. Freeze the first columns, sort A to Z, filter rows by value, and find anything in the sheet.

Yes. Select a range, choose Insert → Chart, and pick bar, line, area or pie. The chart is drawn from those cells as they are when you open it, and downloads as a PNG.

Does the assistant change cells on its own?

Not by default. Pick a starter or ask in your own words; it proposes the change (rows, a column, a total, a clean-up) and in Review mode, the default, nothing is written until you approve it. Switch to Auto and it saves the safe changes itself.
