Every change, shipped in the open.

A straightforward record of what changed in the product and repo.

  1. v1.1Product

AI, calendar, billing, language, and connected workspace updates

Kanvly now tells the current product story more clearly: AI actions, workspace calendar, relations and backlinks, searchable context, note tables, subscription billing, and app language controls are part of the same connected workspace.

    • Kanvly AI can summarize, review, and prepare safe workspace actions
    • Workspace calendar supports events, deadlines, reminders, meetings, and focus blocks
    • Notes and pages support tables plus relation and backlink context
    • Billing, language, privacy, and notification controls are now reflected in product messaging
  2. v1.0Major

Kanvly brand, docs, and public website completed

The product now ships with aligned branding, finished marketing pages, legal pages, documentation, and a clearer story for boards, notes, pages, and deployment.

    • Brand updated across product, docs, email, and legal pages
    • Documentation center, security page, deployment page, and DPA page
    • Marketing copy aligned with actual product capabilities
    • Footer, contact, pricing, and product messaging completed
  3. v0.9Infrastructure

    Runtime storage and delivery hooks

The backend moved beyond static JSON flows and now supports persistent runtime behavior plus configurable external services.

    • SQLite-backed application state
    • Preview outbox plus SMTP delivery support
    • Optional OAuth/OIDC and blob storage configuration
  4. v0.8Product

    Workspace pages made fully interactive

The app shell and main product surfaces now support real mutations instead of static UI shells.

    • Create workspace and create board flows
    • Member invites, settings updates, and avatar uploads
    • Board mutations persist through API-backed state
  5. v0.7Cleanup

    Legacy demo data removed

Seeded demo boards, fake auth fallbacks, and invented customer content were stripped out or rewritten to match the real product.

    • Empty-state onboarding instead of preloaded workspace data
    • Provider auth now errors clearly when not configured
    • Customer and testimonial pages turned into honest use cases
  6. v0.6Release

    Production packaging added

The repo gained the pieces needed to move from a local project to a reproducible deployment target.

    • README and environment template coverage
    • Dockerfile and standalone Next.js output
    • CI workflow plus lint, test, and build checks

What's next

The next big step is deepening what already exists: richer page editing, stronger automations, more external integrations, and broader QA around the full workspace experience.

Your team deserves a workspace that gets out of the way.

Create a workspace where notes, boards, calendar planning, and Kanvly AI all understand the same projects, deadlines, and context.
